RummyVoyage Game Rules
Embark on a fair, thrilling, and skill-driven journey! Master the official rules before setting sail into tournaments and cash tables.
1. Objective of the Game
In RummyVoyage, your primary goal is to form valid card combinations: at least two sequences, including one pure sequence, while minimizing the points in your hand.
A pure sequence means a consecutive arrangement of cards from the same suit without using a joker.
2. Deck Setup and Joker Usage
The game uses two standard decks of 52 cards each, plus printed jokers.
- 🔹 A random card is selected as the wild joker at the start of each game.
- 🔹 Jokers can substitute for missing cards in sequences and sets, but NOT for pure sequences.
3. How to Form Valid Sets and Sequences
Players must arrange their 13 cards into:
- ✅ One pure sequence (no jokers involved).
- ✅ One additional sequence (can use a joker if needed).
- ✅ Remaining cards in valid sets or sequences.
Example: 5♥ 6♥ 7♥ (pure sequence) and 9♣ 10♣ Joker (impure sequence).
4. Turn-by-Turn Gameplay
Each turn consists of two mandatory actions:
- 📥 Draw one card (from the closed deck or open pile).
- 📤 Discard one card to the open pile.
Thoughtful draws and discards are the keys to quick declarations and minimizing points.
5. Declaring Your Hand
When you have arranged your cards according to the rules, you may declare by pressing the Declare button.
The system will automatically validate your hand:
- ✅ At least two sequences are mandatory.
- ✅ One of them must be a pure sequence.
- ✅ Remaining cards must form valid sets or sequences.
Invalid declarations attract heavy penalties, so double-check before you declare!
6. Scoring System
The scoring is straightforward:
- 🎯 Winner scores zero.
- 🎯 Losing players are penalized based on the value of unmatched cards.
- 🎯 Face cards (J, Q, K, A) carry 10 points each.
- 🎯 Numbered cards carry points equal to their face value.
- 🎯 Maximum point loss in most formats: 80 points or 160 points depending on game type.
7. Drop and Middle Drop
Players may choose to "drop" from a game if they feel they have a weak hand:
- 📤 First Drop: 20 points penalty.
- 📤 Middle Drop: 40 points penalty (after drawing at least one card).
- 📤 Wrong Declaration: Full penalty (80 or 160 points depending on the format).
8. Fair Play and Player Conduct
RummyVoyage enforces strict Fair Play rules to protect the integrity of the game:
- 🚫 No collusion between players.
- 🚫 No use of automated bots or unauthorized tools.
- 🚫 No multiple account creation to exploit bonuses or tournaments.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, prize forfeiture, and legal action if necessary.
